Voluntary Life Insurance Designed for PERSI Members
The Boise School District offers eligible employees access to group decreasing term life insurance through the National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems (NCPERS). This coverage is issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America and is available to employees through the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI).
Since 1989, this unique, voluntary life insurance plan has been tailored to meet the specific needs of public pension plan members—providing coverage that complements, but is not included in, your PERSI retirement benefits. While PERSI makes the plan available due to its membership in NCPERS, it does not manage or operate the plan directly.
