Absence Management for Substitutes

Please refer to this video for guidance on logging into Absence Management as well as navigating the site and setting account preferences.
You can also scroll down for step by step login instructions (there are a few ways you can access the site) and what do do if you need to cancel a sub job.
Option 1 for accessing Absence Management- Using MyApps
Go to Myapps.boiseschools.org
Click the blue box "Click Here to Sign into MyApps"
Enter the login credentials provided in the welcome email
Username: firstname.lastname@boiseschools.org
Password: 6 digit employee id # followed by Bsd ( no spaces)
Click on the "Human Resources" folder, then "Frontline Absence Management"
The first time you login you will need to agree to the privacy policy and terms and conditions clause for Absence Management.
Option 2- Using the Absence Management link
Click the following link, Absence Management Login
Enter your district email address, firstname.lastname@boiseschools.org. You may hear/see this referred to as your SSO or Single Sign-On.
There is also a link to the Absence Management site under the "Employee Center" tab of this site.
Please note that if you are logged into another Gmail account on the same device, Absence Management may try to use that email address to log you in, then tell you there has been an error. To avoid this, you can login to your district Gmail account first, then navigate to Absence Management.
If you would prefer, you can also use an incognito window in Google Chrome by clicking on the 3 vertical dots in the upper right-hand corner. Choose the 3rd option down "New incognito window", then login to your district Gmail.
Cancelling a Job
When a substitute teacher accepts an assignment, he/she is making a commitment to the school. Assignments should only be canceled in case of an emergency. If frequent last minute cancellations are made, substitutes will be issued a warning.
To cancel an assignment please follow these steps:
Cancel as soon as possible
Notify the school directly, not the HR Sub office. Contact the school, especially if canceling within 24 hours of the job start time.
Leave a message at the school if it is after school hours so they can work to fill the position.
*Please note: if you cancel a job within 24 hours of the job starting you will not be able to accept any other jobs for that day.
Absence Management/Frontline App:
It is now so easy to accept jobs through the Frontline Mobile App!
Keep in mind, some features are not available via the app such as:
You will not have the ability to cancel a job from the app. You will need to utilize the website or the phone system to cancel a job.
You cannot create a non-work day through the app. You need to utilize the website to do so.
Absence Management Calling System: Phone Number: 1-800-942-3767
You will need to use your main number and a pin to accept jobs. Your pin number will be provided in your welcome email and it is also listed under "account" in your profile through the Absence Management website.
Absence Management Calling Periods:
Mornings from 5:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Evenings from 5:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
