Substitute Pay
Pay Procedures:
Substitutes will only be paid for jobs that are entered in Absence Management. To ensure accuracy, the Substitute is responsible to review jobs in Absence Management prior to the first of each month. If there are discrepancies, you must contact the building site.
Employee Online - to view your pay stubs, update your mailing address, download employee forms and W2's.
Pay Period
Substitutes are paid on the 15th of each month for all assignments worked the previous month.
For example, a substitute will be paid on February 15th for all assignments worked in January.
Daily Pay Definitions
Half-Day: assignments up to four (4) hours in duration
Full-Day: assignments more than four (4) hours in duration
*Long-Term Pay starts when a substitute works 10 consecutive days of an employees schedule. "Consecutive" is based on the employee's regular schedule. On the 10th day, pay will be adjusted to the long-term rate & backdated to start on day 1.
Certified VS. Classified
Pay is based on the employee's position. If the employee is a certified employee, then the substitute will receive certified pay. If the employee is a classified employee, then the substitute will receive classified pay.
