Additional Protection for Life’s Unexpected Accidents

The Boise School District offers eligible employees the opportunity to enroll in Supplemental Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance through New York Life. This coverage goes beyond the District-provided Basic Life and AD&D Insurance, which includes $50,000 in employer-paid coverage at no cost to the employee.

Supplemental AD&D Insurance provides extra financial protection in the event of a covered serious accident—whether it results in the accidental loss of life or a qualifying injury. This coverage applies regardless of where the accident occurs—on the job, at home, while traveling, or during everyday activities—offering added peace of mind for you and your loved ones.

Once you have enrolled in the plan, the plan will automatically renew each year. You may also elect/cancel this voluntary benefit at any time.
