Sick Leave Bank

The purpose of the Sick Leave Bank is to alleviate economic hardship brought upon a member by disability resulting from illness or injury. If an employee exhausts all of their available paid leave, they may be eligible to apply for a grant from the Sick Leave Bank to remain in a paid status. The district does not offer an alternative short term disability benefit. All grants are reviewed/approved by the appropriate Sick Leave Bank Committee.

Membership to the Sick Leave Bank is automatic unless the employee opts-out during their onboarding appointment.
