Biometric Screening Update: 2026–2027 Wellness Plan Eligibility
The biometric screening window for the 2025–2026 plan year officially closed on March 31, 2026. Biometric screening forms are no longer being accepted for purposes of eligibility to opt into the Regence Wellness Medical Plan for the 2026–2027 benefit plan year.
Employees and retirees under age 65 who completed the biometric screening requirement by the deadline will remain eligible to elect the Wellness Plan during Spring Open Enrollment.
Employees hired after January 1, 2026 are grandfathered into the Wellness Plan for the upcoming 2026–2027 benefit plan year, and no further action is needed on their part.
The biometric screening remains the only requirement tied to eligibility for the Regence Wellness Medical Plan, which offers lower premiums, copays, and deductibles. Screening results are not shared with Boise School District.
